Can you practice positive thinking and meditation at the same time?

Positive thinking can be in the form of Positive affirmative statements. It is better to write down one or two statements and repeat it as affirmations. Alternatively you may hold a visual image. For example, you may use your creative visualisation to visualise a fitter you or you holding a trophy or first prize or whatever it is that symbolises your goals for you.

Do not leave it open for wishful thinking or fantasy or imagination because these are mental activities by the thinking-mind and it will lead to loss of groundedness and connection with earth energy. The two options mentioned in the first paragraph above are not active thinking by the thinking-mind.

Can you say the affirmation sentence below after waking up? “I am capable, I am happy, and I am worthy.”

Yes you can. It would be more effective if you first return back to your grounding. And if you can continue to retain a background state of connection with the earth energy as you repeat the affirmations. How to do this?
