Why is my anxiety worse after yoga?

Do you know why on an average people living in China are less obese than people living in the USA? Non-vegetarian food is the main diet at both places so veganism or vegetarianism cannot be a main factor. Studies have found that the main reason is drinking warm water or warm green tea throughout the day. In contrast people living in the USA drink iced drinks all the time.

Although drinking warm water is extremely good for digestion and overall health, if one suffers with Blood pressure or Hypertension it is not advisable to drink a lot of warm water as it may increase the BP. But not drinking water is not the answer nor is drinking something cold because cold drinks seriously affects the digestion process. The answer is to sip tepid water very slowly over a prolonged period of time.

Similarly physical activity is increasing the restlessness in your body and in turn that makes anxiety seem to be worsening. I suggest the following:

  1. Before starting yoga practice please settle for restlessness in the mind by doing a few minutes of FGCB and four simultaneous activities.
  2. Begin the physical body movements with an energy balance practice called Deep crossing.
  3. Do gentle easy yoga. I recommend Selvans 30 yoga.
