By waiting for another 60 to 70 years, because older people need lesser sleep. When our mind is rested adequately, we would be able to do things much more effectively. We do not need 19 hours of awake time even if we are doing a double PhD. In fact the more we want to accomplish in life, the more we need to ensure that our mind is at its high alertness, fully alive with enthusiasm and motivation rather than being exhausted.

Why do I lack motivation for studying?
Because our mind is exhausted. We are stuck in our minds all the time due to our habitual tendency of always being engaged in some form of mental activity or other. Even when we are not actually studying or working or interacting with others in the world around us. Our mind is always tired due to this constant activity. We don’t even know how to find out when our mind is tired because mental tiredness is different from physical tiredness. In such a situation, additionally telling ourselves something or trying to motivate ourselves everyday is actually ineffective. I choose to step out of my thinking mind and be with my body awareness. My thinking mind is resting quietly and my Aware mind is alert, awake and aware of the aliveness in my body as a felt sensation in real time not as a thought. This state of being is deeply rejuvenating and healing. My mind returns back to fresh energetic aliveness and my body heals. I find myself with a high level of motivation and drive when this happens.
