It is a perfectly valid question, thanks for asking. I used to think that the weather change or climate change is the cause of some of my transitory ailments. Especially runny nose, sneezing, coughs and colds, fevers and headaches. They would return back so predictably coinciding with changes in the weather that it is but natural to conclude that the weather has caused it. I used to get these seasonal coughs, clogged nasal pathways, and headaches with every seasonal changes but now I don’t anymore. Even though it is believed that aging only increases the seasonal suffering, I am 60 now and completely immune to seasonal impact on my health conditions.
The question itself contains the possibility that weather or season alone is not the primary cause. Otherwise we wouldn’t seek to prevent it because there wouldn’t be any way to prevent the season from changing! In my case, I have discovered that the direct cause is the difference in temperature of the head and the feet. When the head becomes warmer than the feet for prolonged duration due to external conditions, the body is unable to cope. For me it would happen usually while sleeping or watching a long engaging movie. We may be used to wear shorts in summer and as the winter gradually approaches, it still feels hot in the upper parts of the body but the exposed feet become chilled. Conversely when season changes from winter to summer, we may continue covering our head and this makes it becomes warmer than the feet. I have scarfs for my head and blankets for my feet of varying thickness and warmth and automatically select the right one in the right weather. I don’t have to think about it much, it is intuitive because I now have a higher degree of body awareness throughout the day.
The real solution is to bring more awareness to the body throughout the day. Most people live almost entirely in their minds, engaged with mental activity throughout the day. We are not aware that breathing is happening in our body as a felt sensation in real time, we just know that it is happening as a knowledge in our mind. This is the root cause of all disease and suffering. Please read the following articles to understand the connection between mental activity and disease.

My mother had migraine headaches but I never had one. How normal is it that I have not had a cold, flu, or headache at all for 30 years? Do you think it is affected by me doing meditation?
It is totally extraordinary and amazing that you have never had a cold, flu or headaches for thirty years. Why would you want such an awesome Achievement to be normal? By the way, what is normal? Do you really know anyone who is perfectly normal? Normal is society’s expectation of what a person needs to be and it is purely fictional, existing only in the collective imagination of society. Everyone struggles to show themselves up as matching this fictional normal and that is why no body can ever know someone else even in close relationships most of the time. Humans make everything in batches, exactly same. For example an iPhone 14 would be exactly similar to every other iPhone 14 in existence and it is easy to find out that one is not normal when it malfunctions. But God (or nature or universe or evolution or whatever it is that you believe created us all) does not work in the same way. Each creation is completely unique. That’s why one medicine doesn’t work in the same way for everyone. I can authoritatively confirm that regular practice of meditation results in complete freedom from suffering. Even infections including very contagious ones like covid has no effect on such practioner. All chronic diseases are actually an outcome of modern urban lifestyle that keeps our mind continuously and restlessly engaged. Disease happens when the mind remains exhausted for a long time. I have done extensive research and have written a book on this, which is under publication right now. People have no way to find out when the mind gets tired. With our physical body we know when it is tired and we pause physical activity and rest by sitting or lying or napping or sleeping or having a hot bath or massage. But with our mind, there is no metric to gauge its level of tiredness because mental tiredness shows up as restlessness, sadness, depression, anxiety, worry, indecisiveness, stress, or some such things and we end up treating it with more mental activity such as watching a movie or some other form of entertainment or distractions which always involves more mental activity and never rest. Meditation is the only way to rest the mind. Our physical body is the pinnacle of evolution and it has an inbuilt ability to completely heal itself. But it works only when our mind steps out of the way and allows the body to do it normal healing function. Our body keeps producing new cells to replace old cells all the time and in this way our entire body cells get replaced every two years. At any point of time our entire physical body is no older than two years. What is normal for the human body is what you have been experiencing but still it is completely unique because almost nobody else seems to be free from disease.
The following article suggests a few simple practices that can be cultivated as lifelong habits to enjoy freedom from suffering.

Why do I sometimes find it uncomfortable to breathe from the nose, I feel like I don’t get enough oxygen. and also I get so many sneezes? Is this just my habit or do I have some breathing problems?
Instead of struggling to find out the reasons for all these things, I would suggest a set of practices to help you enjoy freedom from these conditions namely difficulty breathing through the nostrils and repeated sneezing. Learn and do the energy movements called Deep Crossing from the video linked below. It takes about three minutes to do once you have learnt it. Selvans Deep crossing: https://youtu.be/qq6iKZquuVI After this sit with Fixed Gazing and Conscious Breathing (FGCB) for two to five minutes depending on how busy you are. While sitting with FGCB simultaneously keep tapping gently with the tips of your fingers on the following points alternatively – (1) Crown of your head, (2) Eyebrows, (3) Temples, (4) Under the eyes, (5) Between the upper lips and nose, (6) Between the lower lips and chin, (7) Below the end of the Collarbone, (8) Armpits. Use your hands one at a time alternatively for the tapping. Tapping to be done slowly and gently, barely touching the skin. FGCB is described below: Do the above two activities which would take five to eight minutes every time, once in the morning immediately upon waking and repeat it every two hours throughout the day until you go to sleep at night. You will find dramatic improvement in your condition after one week of consistent practice. In addition to this it would help to bring your blood pH from severely acidic to alkaline. Some of the practices mentioned in the article linked below would help you do this.
