What are the potential health risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle?

In the shadow of modernity, where the sedentary lifestyle has become a silent epidemic, its health risks are profound and multifaceted. This lifestyle, characterised by prolonged sitting and minimal physical activity, can lead to a host of health issues, including cardiovascular diseases, obesity, type 2 diabetes, and even mental health struggles such as depression and anxiety.

Recognising the perilous journey towards these health risks, it becomes imperative to counteract with gentle, yet powerful practices that invite movement and energy flow into our daily lives.I propose a series of simple body movements, accessible to all, regardless of age or physical condition, even to the bedridden. These movements, which I’ve termed Energy Movements, serve as a beacon of hope and healing.

Foremost among these is the Deep Crossing Movements, a practice that requires but a few minutes, designed to balance the electromagnetic bio-field enveloping our bodies, thereby facilitating a harmonious energy flow throughout our being.
