What are the reasons why a man can live for hundred years?

In my opinion, lifespan is not counted in terms of years but in terms of the number of breaths one can breathe during one lifetime. Therefore the lifespan is inversely proportionate to the number of breaths one takes per minute. The slower one breathes , the longer they live.

But this is not possible by directly controlling the breathing or by doing controlled breathing because we cannot do anything else if we are engaged in controlling our breath all the time.

Our breathing depends on our state of mind which can be measured by the vibrational frequency of our brainwaves. When we are in a meditative state of mind our breathing considerably slows down increasing our lifespan.

Instead of directly trying to control our breathing, if we cultivate a habit of being in our “Happy Place” all the time, we would automatically slow down our breathing and extend our lifespan.
