Awareness Journey

What is the best thing to start your day with?

Drink at least half a litre of lukewarm water followed by fifteen to thirty minutes of gentle body movements called Energy movements, followed by fifteen to thirty minutes of sitting to meditate. I recommend that we cultivate this practice as a daily routine lifelong habit. The first thing to start the day means that this is the activity that one would find themselves doing immediately upon waking up even before starting to think about the day ahead and definitely before looking into the mobile phone or starting a conversation with others.

I recommend this same set of activity at bedtime just before falling asleep. At least one hour after dinner, switch off the lights and all electronic devices and do this practice for thirty minutes (15 minutes energy movements and 15 minutes meditation). The only difference between morning and night practice would be in the meditation. At night I recommend an open eyes meditation called Look, Breathe, Tap meditation. In the morning, I recommend the Gratitude or Compassion meditation.

You can find the videos of all the energy movements in the free resources when you scroll down on the homepage of my website. You can also find the guided meditation audios of different meditation practices in the same place. To learn more about the energy movements and other self care articles please browse through the blog page of my website. To seek mentoring support please go through the details of my online mentoring course called Awareness Journey.

This is a very simple daily routine and its very simplicity makes it deceptively difficult to believe how profoundly effective it becomes when it is cultivated into a daily habit. I am not exaggerating when I say that it would help one to lead a life completely free from disease, pain and suffering. Please do read and listen to the videos on the web pages about Selvan and about the course to see how it has impacted the lives of hundreds of participants.https://awarenessjourney.org/
