Once a theory becomes known as actually true it ceases to be the most fantastic theory. Look at human history and it is replete with such things. For example in the beginning of twentieth century to be able to fly, for humans was a fantasy but today it is not so. Closer home in history, to me as a youth, to be able to talk to my family over phone when I’m travelling abroad and on the road, was fantasy but to my grandchildren it is a mere fact of life.
A fantasy is something fantastic and causes wonder. So why do you want to lose the wonder in life by seeking to know the answers? Answers make life boring.
The thing about meditation is that each sitting, each session, each practice takes us into the realm of wonder, beauty and the fantastic. Coming back to the practice of meditation repeatedly, in spite of the magnetic pull of routine life with all its suffering and strife, will enable us to enjoy this wonderment and fantasy repeatedly. In my opinion this is what is most fantastic about meditation and it is actually true.
In continuing with our practice each of us may be able to retrace the footsteps of someone like Mahavatar Babaji whose physical body transformed into a light body and who still lives on in this earthly plane since thousands of years, transcending the barriers of time and space.
