Why am I always having a headache?

I truly empathise with your struggle with headaches, as I’ve encountered a similar battle myself. My journey with a persistent, mild headache spanned over two decades, often intensifying into severe episodes that confined me to bed.

It wasn’t until I reached 55 and delved into exploring my inner awareness, a journey that I later termed as ‘My Awareness Journey,’ that I witnessed a miraculous change—the headaches that had been an integral part of my life vanished. This experience opened my eyes to the reality that what I had accepted as normal was, in fact, a significant and constant burden that I had gotten used to.

This led me to change my career from an Industrialist to a Mentor, guiding scores of individuals through their transformation with my online course ‘Awareness Journey.’ In my quest to assist others suffering from various forms of headaches, ranging from mild discomfort to debilitating pain, I discovered the transformative power of shifting our focus from the analytical, thinking mind to a more present, aware state of mind.

This pivotal shift, which I refer to as regaining our grounding or reconnecting with the inner aliveness, or returning to our ‘Happy Place within,’ proved to be a key factor in alleviating headaches. Among the practices that facilitate this transformation, FGCB (Fixed Gazing and Conscious Breathing) and Deep Crossing stand out as primary tools.

FGCB involves focusing your gaze on a single point to calm the mind, coupled with conscious breathing—with a loud, long, slow exhale through the mouth and an easy, effortless inhale through the nostrils—to deepen your sense of presence and awareness.

Deep Crossing is an easy body movement practice designed to bridge the gap between our inner and outer experiences, helping to harmonise our mental, emotional, and physical states by balancing our energies. By incorporating these practices into your daily routine, even for a short period each day, you can experience significant relief from headaches.
