I recommend you do a few minutes of easy body movements before sitting to meditate. The three minute deep crossing energy movements is found to be the most effective to release restless energies and come back to balance and grounding. After this, when you sit to meditate begin with a few minutes of eyes open meditation. Later during the meditation whenever you feel heaviness in the head you may return back to eyes open meditation with FGCB for a minute as you continue to meditate.
